I have been involved in the purebred fancy since 1964.  I have bred and owned American cocker Spaniels, Miniature Dachshunds, Dalmations, English bulldogs and English Springers.  My Permanent Registered Kennel prefix is "Prelude".  I have been judging since 1994 and will achieve All-Breed status in June 2007.  I have judged in the USA, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Bahamas and, of course, Canada.   My partner, David Swartwood (who has also just qualified to judge) and I own a Boarding Kennel and our own training facility where we hold classes in obedience, agility and show handling.  David was a professional handler retiring after he wrote his judge's exam.
