Non-Regular Classes Involving Single Dog Entries

274. Veteran Classes - (Siberian Huskies) - Shall be for any dog or bitch eight (8) years of age or older. An entry fee of $10.00 will be charged if entered in a regular class, or $15.00 if not entered in a regular class. The winner of the Veteran Dog Class and Veteran Bitch Class is eligible to compete for Best of Breed.

81. Veteran Classes - (Bearded Collies) - Shall be for any dog or bitch seven (7) years of age or older.

89. Sled Dog Classes - (Siberian Huskies) - Requirements for Sled Dog Classes are listed below and must receive strict adherence. No deviation from the rules is allowed.

1. Entry must be an AKC or CKC registered Siberian Husky, (Entry must be eligible under Chapter 11, Section 1 of the AKC rules Applying to Dog Shows).

2. There will be a class for Dogs & Bitches.

3. An entry fee of $10.00 will be charged if entered in a regular class, or $15.00 if not entered in a regular class.

4. During the previous racing season each entry must have completed ten (10) heats with a minimum of five (5) miles per heat or completed a total of seventy (70) miles in competition. All races must be on snow with sleds. Entries having completed five (5) years in competition where the above requirements have been met shall be automatically qualified to compete in Sled Dog Class.

5. Races must have been held under the direction of a Recognized Race Giving Organization with rules and recorded results.

6. A list of races in which the dog competed must be sent to the Show Superintendent when the entries are made. Proof of competition must be made available at ringside if challenged.

9. BEST OF BREED COMPETITION

Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries

SIBERIAN HUSKIES & BEARDED COLLIES

91. Stud Dog Class - For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. Stud Dogs must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of the Stud Dog need not be the owner of Get. Get only to be judged, based on merits of Get, placing will be made to the Stud Dogs.

92. Brood Bitch Class - For Brood Bitches and two of their Progeny. Brood Bitches must be entered in the Brood Bitch Class and must be shown in the ring with their Progeny. Owners of the Brood Bitch need not be the owners of the Progeny. Progeny only to be judged, based on the merits of the Progeny, placing will be made to the Brood Bitches.

Stud Dog and Brood Bitch will not be eligible for Best of Breed competition, if based only on a first place winning in this class.

93. Brace Class - (Two Dogs - Identical Ownership) - A fee of $15.00 Siberian Huskies & $17.00 Bearded Collies per Unit is charged for the Brace, if entered in another class. The dogs comprising the Brace MUST be named at the time of the entry. If a dog which is to be a part of the Brace is not entered in another class, it must be entered for "Brace Class Only", with a fee of $20.00 Siberian Huskies & $22.00 Bearded Collies per dog. In making an entry for "Brace Class Only" full particulars must be given for each dog on individual regular entry forms. An entry form for a dog entered in another class and entered as part of a Brace MUST be marked accordingly in the space provided for additional classes - "Brace Class". If more than one Brace is entered by the identical owner, the dogs comprising EACH Brace must be so designated, i.e. Brace #1, Brace #2, etc.

244. Parade of Titleholders - (Siberian Huskies Only) - All Siberian Huskies AKC Champions and AKC Obedience Degree Dogs of record are eligible to enter this Parade. An entry fee of $7.00 will be charged if entered in another class. If the dog is not entered for competition, an entry of fee of $10.00 will be charged. Each dog entered will receive a Rosette offered by the Chesapeake Siberian Husky Club "Parade" MUST be marked on the entry form.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS - BOTH SHOWS

Telegraph, Telephone and Unsigned Entries Cannot Be Accepted. Entries Not On Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Mail All Entries With Fees to MB-F, Inc., Superintendent, P.O. Box 22107, Greensboro, North Carolina 27420. Entries received without fees will not be accepted. Acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as practicable with tickets and/or identification cards. The person accompanying a dog must show tickets of admission and identification before the dog will be received. Should such acknowledgement not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please notify the MB-F Office to which you sent your entries. Fax Entries, 1-336-272-0864 only. Both sides of entry form must be transmitted. Entries must be accompanied by a cover sheet stating the number of pages, what shows and how many dogs per show. Visa/Mastercard number and expiration date, as well as the printed cardholder's name and address must be included on cover sheet. Visa/Mastercard number, expiration date, cardholder's name must appear on each entry. Fax entries must be received by the closing hour/date. Fax fee: $4 per entry in addition to entry fee. All credit card entries, regardless of method submitted, are processed through the Fax program and are charged the $4.00 processing fee.

Make All Checks and Money Orders payable to MB-F, Inc. CANADIAN exhibitors must make fees payable in U.S. FUNDS. Please mail checks or money orders with entries. Superintendent assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the mail. Tabulate carefully. Due to cost of processing, no refunds $4.00 and under will be made.

A Recording Fee of 50¢ will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. This Recording Fee is to be collected by the Show-giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Recording Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2).

No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance.

Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of Show Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made.

Post Dated Checks, Returned Checks and Declined Credit Cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check or declined card. Subsequent returned checks or declined cards from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis.

No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made.

Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date.

Dogs May Arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused.

Judges Will Not Wait for Any Dog Holding Up a Class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in judging ring when their classes are called to be judged.

All Dogs Present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring.

Class Cash Prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent's Office advised at once. The Superintendents and show-giving Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over.

No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent in which this dog show is conducted.
