Directions to Veterinary Clinic from Show Grounds: Exit the show grounds. Turn Right on Walla Walla St. Turn Right at stop sign onto Hawley St. Turn Right at stop light onto N. Wenatchee Ave. Go approx. 1 mile. Take exit for Okanogan/Spokane to the Right. Turn Left at first stop light. Turn Right on Ohme Garden Rd. Go approx. ½ mile. Veterinary Clinic is on right side of road. A detailed street map will be available at the Wenatchee Kennel Club, Inc. booth.
Attention Exhibitors Please remember to clean up after you and your dogs. This park is heavily used by youth sports teams. Treat this area as if YOUR kids or grandkids would play here following the shows.
Shade canopies near the rings are only for dogs currently being shown. No crating allowed after the breed is finished.
Note Members of the Wenatchee Kennel Club Show Committee will not handle any dog in these Shows or Trials, however, others may handle their dogs. Members may enter the Sanctioned Match.

Non-Regular Classes PRE-NOVICE: The Pre-Novice Class shall be for dogs that have not received a third qualifying score in a Novice Class. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class. GRADUATE NOVICE: The Graduate Novice Class is for dogs that have not been certified by a judge to have received a third qualifying score toward a CDX title prior to the closing of entries. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class.
RALLY OBEDIENCE In Rally Classes, the team of dog and handler move continuously and perform the exercises indicated by a sign at each location. After the judge's "Forward" command, the team is on its own to complete the entire sequence correctly. Unlimited communication from the handler to the dog between signs is to be encouraged and not penalized. 473. NOVICE: All exercises on leash. Includes 10 - 15 stations with no more than 5 stationary exercises per class. 472. ADVANCED: All exercises off leash. Includes 12 - 17 stations with no more than 7 stationary exercises per class and one jump must be used; broad, high or bar. 475. EXCELLENT: All exercises off leash except Honor Exercises. Includes 15 - 20 stations with no more that 7 stationary exercises per class. Two jumps must be used; any jump or combination of jumps used in standard AKC Obedience Class. All dogs will be timed. Vendors Concession space at these shows is open to any vendor for the retailing of dog-related supplies and services. All vendor space is outside with no cover. All vendors operate at their own risk and must sign an agreement releasing the Wenatchee Kennel Club, Inc. and the Chelan County P.U.D. (park operator) from any liability or responsibility for damage or injury arising out of these events. Dogs kept in vending area must be in ex-pens or crated. Reservations must be made on the form provided below and must be received, with fees, no later than August 30, 2003. Vendors may use only footage reserved by prepayment and must park in assigned spaces. Vendors must reserve space for both days. Note: The vending fee DOES NOT cover overnight parking. Vendors who plan to stay on the grounds must also make reserved parking arrangements in advance. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Recording Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the event's Show Committee. If because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergencies, health emergencies, and the dictates of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of the grounds and/or facilities or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. Post Dated Checks, Returned Checks and Declined Credit Cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check or declined card. Subsequent returned checks or declined cards from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. An Administrative Fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries. Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. Dogs May Arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges Will Not Wait for Any Dog Holding Up a Class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. All Dogs Present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring. Class Cash Prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent's Office advised at once. The Superintendents and show-giving Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over. No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent in which this dog show is conducted. | |||||
