All rights to TELEVISE, VIDEO TAPE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit these events are vested in the Show-giving Clubs, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the clubs. All persons and animals on the Showgrounds at any time while the shows are in progress, do by attending these shows or participating therein, grant to the Clubs the right to photograph, televise, video tape, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent. The Clubs and their officials are not responsible for the actions or products of the commerical vendors at these shows.
At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on a ramp: Clumber Spaniels, Sussex Spaniels, Basset Hounds, Whippets, Staffordshire Bull Terriers & Bulldogs. Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any breed. (In an emergency situation, an exhibitor does have the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund).
No unentered dogs allowed in building.

Best Puppy in Show Competition Friday, January 17, 2003 The Best Puppy in Breed competition will be judged after the Best of Breed competition by the assigned breed judge. If the puppy is awarded Best of Winners in the regular Breed Competition it will automatically be Best of Breed Puppy. Best of Breed Puppy will compete in its respective group for Best Puppy in Group. There will be four group placements. The Best Puppy Group will be held after each Regular Group. Puppy Group winners will compete for Best Puppy in Show to be held prior to Best in Show. Exhibitor Information EXHIBITORS' ENTRANCES The Exhibitors' Entrances are located along the rear of the building. NO CRATES or DOLLIES WILL BE PERMITTED TO ENTER THE BUILDING THROUGH THE MAIN DOOR. EXHIBITOR PARKING - In the event of snow, the parking lot will be cleared. All vehicle parking is on hard-top surface. All parking is at your own risk. Fire lanes must be kept open at all times and will be under constant surveillance. Unauthorized or illegally parked vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense. NO EX-PENS IN FIRE LANES. Only Collapsible tables and crates for toy dogs will be allowed by the rings. Cooperation with all parking personnel including following instructions and directions is required. Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of your parking privileges on the grounds for the show. RV Parking available - See Page 22. HANDICAP PARKING Limited handicap parking will be available only upon proof of valid placard or license. These spaces will provide easy access to the building. BUILDING ACCESS HOURS - Thursday 3:00 P.M. There will be security provided and the building will be locked at 11:00 P.M. on Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings and reopened at 6:00 A.M. each morning. UNLOADING Unloading will be allowed only in designated areas. CANINE COURTESY All dogs shall be kept under control at all times! No retractable leads (flexi) in building. You are responsible for picking up after the animals in your care. Please exercise dogs in designated areas only. Outdoor exercise pens will be limited due to parking requirements. All regulations will be enforced by the Grounds Committee. There is no space provided for unentered dogs. CRATE & GROOMING AREA. NO MESH CRATES ALLOWED IN CRATE AND GROOMING AREA. All crates, grooming tables and other equipment must be brought into the building through the EXHIBITORS' ENTRANCE. An area will be provided for crates and grooming. Please stack your crates. The grooming of dogs in areas other than the Crate or Grooming Section is prohibited. Crates & Grooming Tables are permitted in designated areas only. Due to the number of crates and grooming tables, chairs will not be permitted in the handlers' section. NO PRIVATE EXERCISE PENS ARE PERMITTED IN THE EXPO BUILDING. VIOLATORS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE BUILDING. All trash and litter must be placed in containers provided. NO DOGS WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE RESTROOMS. Disposal of grooming residue (fur, etc.) in the restrooms is PROHIBITED. Food for exhibitors & spectators will be available. Admission Each Day - $5.00 Adults; $2.00 Children; Under 10 Free. Veterinarian Fees for services are the responsibility of the exhibitor. The Gloucester County Kennel Club, Inc., Camden County Kennel Club, Inc. and the South Jersey Expo Center assume NO responsibility for the loss of, damage to, death, or injury sustained by exhibitors, spectators, agents or to any of the their dogs or property and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Telegraph, Telephone (Except Dial-N-Entry Members) and Unsigned Entries Cannot Be Accepted. Entries Not On Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE. Mail All Entries With Fees to MB-F, Inc., Superintendent, P.O. Box 22107, Greensboro, North Carolina 27420. Entries received without fees will not be accepted. Acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as practicable with tickets and/or identification cards. The person accompanying a dog must show tickets of admission and identification before the dog will be received. Should such acknowledgement not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please notify the MB-F Office to which you sent your entries. Both sides of entry form must be transmitted. Entries must be accompanied by a cover sheet stating the number of pages, what shows and how many dogs per show. Visa/Mastercard number and expiration date, as well as the printed cardholder's name and address must be included on cover sheet. Visa/Mastercard number, expiration date, cardholder's name must appear on each entry. Fax entries must be received by the closing hour/date. Fax fee: $4.50 per entry in addition to entry fee. All credit card entries, regardless of method submitted, are processed through the Fax program and are charged the $4.50 processing fee. This Fax Fee is subject to change without notice. Make All Checks and Money Orders payable to MB-F, Inc. CANADIAN exhibitors must make fees payable in U.S. FUNDS. Please mail checks or money orders with entries. Superintendent assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the mail. Tabulate carefully. Due to cost of processing, no refunds $4.00 and under will be made. A Recording Fee of 50¢ will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. This Recording Fee is to be collected by the Show-giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Recording Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of Event Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. Post Dated Checks, Returned Checks and Declined Credit Cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check or declined card. Subsequent returned checks or declined cards from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. An Adminstrative Fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries. Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. Dogs May Arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges Will Not Wait for Any Dog Holding Up a Class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. All Dogs Present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring. Class Cash Prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent's Office advised at once. The Superintendents and show-giving Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over. No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent in which this dog show is conducted. | ||
