Show site will be available to exhibitors after 2:00 P.M., Sunday, July 27, 2003. See notice on Page 3.

The Walworth County Fairgrounds charges a fee of $20.00 for overnight camping. Electrical hook-ups and showers are available at no extra charge. A septic disposal is available on the east side of the Fairgrounds.

A limited supply of ice will be available on the show grounds.

One admission free with each entry. There will be a $2.00 admission charge for each additional person over 12 years of age.

Food and refreshments will be available in the shaded picnic grove.

Note - Exhibitors from outside Wisconsin must comply with the following regulations

Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Rule enacted in 1954

No person shall import a dog over six months of age into the state unless it is accompanied by an interstate certificate including thereon a report of vaccination for rabies. Such vaccination shall be conducted not more than 12 months prior to entry, provided that when chick embryo vaccination is used, such vaccination shall be conducted not more than 36 months prior to entry.

An interstate health certificate shall be executed by a Veterinarian of the state of origin showing animals identified thereon have been inspected and no infectious diseases disclosed and to include a rabies report.


At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on a ramp: Clumber Spaniels, Sussex Spaniels, Basset Hounds, Whippets, Staffordshire Bull Terriers & Bulldogs.

Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any breed. (In an emergency situation, an exhibitor does have the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund).

AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB CERTIFICATION

of these events under American Kennel Club rules and regulations.

DOG SHOW EXHIBITORS

GROUND RULES

The welfare of an exhibitor's child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is expressly understood that exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children at all times.

Exhibitors, children and dogs are not allowed in the stable area, the Grandstand seating area or the area immediately surrounding, on or in the infield of horse trotting track.

All "Handicap," "No Parking" and "Restricted" parking signs as posted on the grounds, in the premium list or judging schedule must be observed. Violators will be ticketed.

The reserved "Handicap" parking along the west street of the Fairgrounds is for "nose-in" "day-parking" only. No motor homes, no exercise pens and no grooming will be permitted in this area. Violators will be ticketed.

All traffic around the rings and unloading area will be controlled by security personnel.

Barricades may not be moved.

Please keep your parking and/or grooming area clean and neat.

No practicing is allowed in the rings at any time.

No dogs are permitted in the showers or lavatories. There is no space for unentered dogs.

The Burlington, Wisconsin Kennel Club and Janesville-Beloit Kennel Club, Inc. assume no responsibility for lost, stolen or misplaced items.

If a dog is locked in a vehicle or left in the sun, the Event Committees will use whatever means are necessary to remove the animal to a safer location.

Due to complaints from exhibitors, the use of roller skates, rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, bicycles and mopeds will not be allowed on the show grounds during show hours.

Exhibitors must contact motels directly and identify themselves as having dogs. Some require deposits, others take only small dogs. Please use extreme care in the treatment of motel space. PLEASE be a responsible motel guest. Make reservations early, this is a very busy weekend.

Use one entry blank per dog only if information is exactly the SAME for each day. Carefully check the block (blocks) for each show in which you wish to enter your dog. You MUST use a separate entry blank if you are entering your dog in a different class on different days. (i.e. Open Class on Day 1 and American-Bred Class on Day 2), or, if you are entering an additional class on any of the days (Open Class on Day 1 and Open Class plus Jr. Showmanship on Day 2 or Open Class and Novice A Obedience on Day 2.)

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS - EACH DAY

Telegraph, Telephone (Except Dial-N-Entry) and Unsigned Entries Cannot Be Accepted. Entries Not On Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Mail All Entries With Fees to MB-F, Inc., Superintendent, P.O. Box 22107, Greensboro, North Carolina 27420. Entries received without fees will not be accepted. Acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as practicable with tickets and/or identification cards. The person accompanying a dog must show tickets of admission and identification before the dog will be received. Should such acknowledgement not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please notify the MB-F Office to which you sent your entries. Fax Entries, 1-336-272-0864 or 1-800-SHO-FAXS. Both sides of entry form must be transmitted. Entries must be accompanied by a cover sheet stating the number of pages, what shows and how many dogs per show. Visa/Mastercard number and expiration date, as well as the printed cardholder's name and address must be included on cover sheet. Visa/Mastercard number, expiration date, cardholder's name must appear on each entry. Fax entries must be received by the closing hour/date. Fax fee: $4.50 per entry in addition to entry fee. All credit card entries, regardless of method submitted, are processed through the Fax program and are charged the $4.50 processing fee. This Fax Fee is subject to change without notice.

Make All Checks and Money Orders payable to MB-F, Inc. CANADIAN exhibitors must make fees payable in U.S. FUNDS. Please mail checks or money orders with entries. Superintendent assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the mail. Tabulate carefully. Due to cost of processing, no refunds $4.00 and under will be made.

A Recording Fee of 50¢ will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. This Recording Fee is to be collected by the Show-giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Recording Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2).

No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance.

Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the event's Show Committee. If because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergencies, health emergencies, and the dictates of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of the grounds and/or facilities or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made.

Post Dated Checks, Returned Checks and Declined Credit Cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check or declined card. Subsequent returned checks or declined cards from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis.

No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made.

An Administrative Fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries.

Errors on Entry Blanks. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date.

Dogs May Arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused.

Judges Will Not Wait for Any Dog Holding Up a Class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged.

All Dogs Present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring.

Class Cash Prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent's Office advised at once. The Superintendents and show-giving Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over.

No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent in which this dog show is conducted.
