Ariel started her showgirl career in January 2000 at 6 months of age, and was owner handled to many class first placements. She has also been presented by her 'Gramma' Beverly Thiessen and by good friend Mr.Rod Brown, who has helped Ari earn many class firsts/RWB,and points toward her CKC Championship at a very young age. She was beautifully shown by Ms.Holley Eldred at both the ARC Region One specialty, winning Winners Bitch/4 pt major from Am Bred, then going to the ARC Nationals the following May to take WB/BOW for her second major. On her return from Georgia, she was expertly shown by Ms. Carol Woodward, taking BOS over specials her first show back home in June. She then finished her AKC CH in July, taking her third major at the Brush Prairie,WA show at barely 2 years old. She also finished her Can CH Fall of 2001 at the Elsie Murray Shows by winning WF/BOW/BOS. She was campaigned by Ms. Gladys Trout, P.H.A. of Ebon-Behr Rottweilers in California in 2002, and was ranked #4 bitch and #10 overall (ARC system/first quarter). She was the #1 ARC rottie bitch for March '02. She ended up #6 ARC bitch/#17 overall with 6 months of full time showing. Since this note was originally written, we have lost our friend Gladys. We miss her very much!! Ariel is now trialing with her breeder for her CD in obedience(FLASH ARIEL EARNED HER FIRST CD LEG WITH A 4TH PLACE,Breeder "Grandma" Becky and Ariel just trialed October 1st and 2nd and earned both her HT and PT in herding and our eventual goal is also to work towards her herding started title, her rally titles and tracking titles with hopefully a completion of her ARC Versatility award. She has had her first litter of puppies, 3 of the 6 have finished their AKC Championships on back to back weekends, and all 3 have won Best of Breed. Several of the pups are training in obedience,planning to start carting training, and 1 is planning a therapy dog certification.
