Sky started his show career at the age of 4 months by placing in the group at his first match. It was the first time ever in a conformation ring for both Sky and his owner Dina. Since that time, he's never looked back. At 7 months, Sky finished his AKC Championship with 4 majors, 2 BOB wins and 2 BOS wins over specials. Still a young boy now, he was shown in the breed ring on a very limited basis during 2006 and managed to rise in the rankings to #7 Breed Points and #12 All Breed Points. That's a nice start for this very typey Havanese and we're looking forward to 2007 when he is out on a more frequent basis.

Health testing results couldn't be better on Sky as he has passed his CERF, BAER, is OFA normal for patellas and cardiac, OFA prelim excellent for hips and OFA prelim normal for elbows. He will sire his first litter in Spring of 2007.

Sky has a wonderful career ahead of him, not only in conformation but also in performance events. Many thanks to Sky's owner Dina Planche, his trainer Netta Duplanti, and his handler Lois DeMers. Along with his many accomplishments, Brody continues to be the only Havanese to ever rank #1 in both breed and all breed systems and we are grateful that Ralph and Ade agreed to allow Brody to sire a litter with our Tess to produce some lovely puppies like Sky!
