With phenomenal temperament, beautiful confirmation and flawless movement, Ch. Windamir’s Chosen One lauds many enviable awards and achievements. Zen achieved her first Best of Breed win her first weekend out at the tender age of nine months old for a 5 point major in Tallmadge, Ohio. Her second weekend out, she won best German Pinscher puppy, and went on the win a Puppy Group First in Novi, Michigan under judge James Ellis, Sr. On April 26, 2003 she finished her championship in Detroit, Michigan under James Fredericksen at just over one year of age. She finished off the year as the only female and youngest German Pinscher Westminster Invitee and Ranked #1 Female in Breed Points. ************* And her success has continued. In 2004, she was chosen as Best of Opposite Sex at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show under Dr. Klaus Anselm, and handled by Michael G. Szabo. Over the summer on Lake Erie in Madison, Ohio, she and Mike earned their first Group Placement together under Sheila DiNardo. In Virginia Beach, Virginia at the German Pinscher Club of America National, Zen went Best of Opposite Sex with Mike, and was the only champion bitch left in the final cut. The year rounded out with her second invitation to Westminster, making her the only two-time GP Westminster invitee at that time. She also ended the year #1 German Pinscher in Breed Points and #1 German Pinscher Bitch in All-Breed Points. She was named Pedigree’s German Pinscher of the Year for 2004 as well as German Pinscher Club of America Dog of the Year. ************** But wait, there’s more. This past year has been exciting as well. She earned her first Owner-Handled Group Placement in Marion, Ohio under Lee Anthony Reasin. She was also the Best of Breed winner at the GPCA Supported Entry in Kentucky in the fall. The year ended with her third invitation to Westminster and her second consecutive year as #1 German Pinscher Bitch in All-Breed Points. ************** In 2006, she was Best of Opposite Sex at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show. She also received an Award of Merit at the GPCA National Specialty – while being handled by her owner, Joelle. Her exciting wins brought her to over 100 Best of Breed wins –always with competition, and her fourth invitation to the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show – preserving her record as the most invited German Pinscher. *************** In 2007, she wowed New York, by winning the Breed at the Garden for her 123rd Best of Breed win. She and Mike made an amazing showing in the group. Now we have plans for the next big thing. *************** As Chosen One has matured, she has only became more beautiful.
