Easter Weekend '07: His Obedience debut in Canada was true to form as he captured two of 3 qualifying legs with 2nd and 1st. placements, and a Highest Scoring Golden Retriever award over a 4-trial weekend averaging 194.8! Our AKC Obedience debut May 5-6/07: Desi racks up the ribbons with a 2nd place followed by a stellar performance in the second trial, breaking a 4-way tie for 1st. with a 197plus -- on my birthday! He finished his AM CD at the Yankee Specialty in style, capturing 1st place with a 195 under judge Bob Harris. To date his US/CAN average is 195.5! With a smile on his face, a spring to his step, and an attitude every handler dreams of, I look forward to our next adventure, the TD.
October 14th, 2007, Smokey House fields, VT Tracking Club Test. Amid a backdrop of mountains ablaze in color Desi motors his track, banging every corner capturing the TD -- my first ever! He never ceases to amaze me!
