Stuff was our pick male in a spectacular litter, Lexy's first. His litter name was "Jorel", like superman's father. This got changed when the Treber's adopted him. It took some time for us to convince John & Cherrie of the potential in this puppy, as they had their eye on another male in another litter.
Luckily, the other dog, which was not of the same calibur as "Jorel", was sold to someone else. Shortly after, the Treber's adopted Stuff on condition that he be returned if they did not think he was "it". Needless to say, Stuff never was returned!
Stuff has contributed greatly, in a positive way, to the Keeshond breed. Thanks to the persistence and drive that Cherrie and John had to be sure this dog achieved his potential, he has gone down in history as one of the greats! He is also the sire of the Top Kees Bitch (breeder/handled) in the history of the breed, "Allie" Ch. CopyKees Ashwood Alliance, HOF, MX.
(Unfortunately, most of Stuffy's show photos were stolen and there are only a few photos available.) 2009 brings 2 excellent frozen Stuff litters (Paradise Kees and VosDal)! Watch for them in 2010!
