"RUSSELL" began his show career with confidence and promise at the 2006 'Christmas Cluster Shows' at Jackson, MS on his seven-month birthday, handled by his loving owner, Kathryn E Phillips, in his first show!
RUSSELL is named for a world-famous harness horse, "FRESH YANKEE", developed by RUSSELL STABLES in Jackson County, near Stevenson, Alabama. "RUSSELL" finished his championship in back-to-back majors at the "Asheville Kennel Club" shows in Asheville, NC on June 8, 2008. He was expertly handled by Ann Terry of Chattanooga, TN.
