Gina Lee (also know at home as Gi-Gi) is VosDal's second show dog. Our first, Angel 'CH Astarz That Petty Magic', has been such a dream show bitch that when her mom Stacee 'CH Astarz Exxxtacy' had a second litter we just had to have another girl. Gina Lee captured my heart from the time she was 2 weeks old. She is a beautiful young girl with natural showing ablity.
Angel was named to honor the late Adam Petty. Adam was the son of NASCAR driver Kyle Petty and grandson of 7 time NASCAR Champion 'King' Richard Petty. Gina Lee is named in honor of Adam's great grandfather 3 time NASCAR Champion Lee Petty. Lee Petty died just a month before Adam did.
Although her show career has only just begun, she has done some impressive winning in the puppy competitions and matchs. In each of her four puppy competitions, she has been awarded a group win and 3 group placements.
Gina Lee is a young Kees with a beautiful movement, expression and markings. We have no doubt that she will finish her title quickly in 2004.
Update: At the KCDV Keeshond Specialty Show Gina was awarded Best in Sweeps by Judge Kenneth Kaufman. This was a nice win for Gina becasue there was strong group of young Kees for her to compete against. Gina only need her 2 majors to finish her AKC title. We still hope to do that by the end of 2004, but majors in our breed have been hard to come by this year. Gina has grown in to a very beautiful young lady. We have plans to breed Gina in the Fall of 2005.
NEWS FLASH 12/11/04... Gina finished her Championship in style. Gina was awarded WB for a 5 PT MAJOR at the Buckeye Specialty by Judge Kenneth Miller. Gina will now relax at home until May where we plan to show her at the Keeshond National in OH. We have tentative plans to breed her after the National. Stay tune.
