"Kayla" – my wonderful, extremely active, far too intelligent for her own good, loving girl – whose breeder convinced me that if I would take a ‘show puppy’, she would show her for me… Well, that was many shows ago. (Her breeder showed her once and I just HAD to get in on the action.) I'm no longer a sensible person, but one of those people that you see at dog shows most weekends. I just LOVE my spoiled girl. She started showing on the day she turned 6 months old--much too early. Of course I had a lot to learn and Kayla was ready to learn with me! She was slow to mature physically, but very, very nice structurally and, because I was impatient, she finished before she fully matured. So now we are mastering the Agility Courses---and she loves agility!! In fact, Kayla has only been in one weekend show where she did not achieve at least one leg in agility. And, she achieved her first agility title less than two months after attaining her conformation championship.
Kayla turned three in February. She was bred to Can. Ch. Keeshee's Keesbrook Smokin' Gun and is 'with puppies' -- due for delivery around December 10. She is OFA "good", normal thyroid, normal patellas, normal eyes registered through C.E.R.F. We expect the Kayla/Dillon litter to produce very “Chic” boys and girls.
