Aramis Started his show career in style, winning best puppy in match at 3 mos. of age. After maturing to the age of two he was again winning in the ring. On his journey Winning Best Of Breed from the classes over top specials. He excels in type, personality and attitude. With a desire to please, he commands attention shinning in the ring. This dog has a tremendous heart and is eager to please. His temperament is exceptional. His movement breathtaking, with reach, drive and overall balance. He is proven as a sire with pointed get following in his footsteps. Always owner handled. He is sired by the exotic (Ch. Chandhara's Darkhawk)& his Dam, the ever so sweet (Ch. Shundu Wild And Free). Sadly, both have crossed Rainbow bridge. To date Moosie is the only afghan hound that has survived chylothorax and multiple lung lobe torsion. Through the excellent work Of Dr. McAnulty and others at the university of Wi. school Of Veterinary medicine Moose was able to be a part of the clinical trials for chylothorax, where he recieved world class treatment and pericardectomy. He will have been free of complications for two years as of Sept 2006. Without Dr. McAnulty and dedicated staff, and Dr. Ann Cavender Of Salem Veterinary Services Moose would not be here. Not only has he survived against the odds, he is once again a competitive special. As of July 06 he reached his 7th birthday. 4 years ago he had minimal chance of survival. Look for him as a special and veteren. He is shown selectively for special events. He loves the show ring. New website lcafghans.com
