He is a happy, gentle and structurally sound dog who is a fine ambassador for his breed, showcasing its beauty and versatility. Sammy earned his UKC championship at the age of 7 months and passed his herding instinct test in Glen Rose in 2010. He finished his AKC championship at the Houston KC show in July 2011, almost exactly a year after winning his first AKC championship point. Sammy has matured into a fine little showman. His next goal is a Grand Championship. Sammy has passed OFA hips, patellas and elbows, CERF and BAER hearing tests. He recently made a contribution to the future health of his breed by donating blood to the CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) DNA repository.
