Hound Group

This group consists of the Sporting Hounds which hunt or trail fur bearing animals. Some trail by scent like the Bloodhound. Others chase by sight like the Greyhound and the Afghan, while still others give voice on the trail like the Beagle and the Basset. Then there is the Dachshund, equipped for digging and fighting when he goes to ground for the badger. A truly wide variety of coats, shapes and sizes are represented in the Hound Group.
