| Herding Group
The Herding Group consists of 17 breeds of dogs whose talent and claim to fame are their ability to herd sheep and cattle. Man's use of dogs to help him tend livestock dates from ancient times, and a good herding dog is still highly prized today. Quickness, stamina and an uncanny intelligence are the marks of the herding dog.
