Non Sporting Group

The word Non-Sporting can be misleading for this Group of dogs, but was adopted because it is a miscellany of breeds. The Poodle for instance, comes from a Sporting family; the Keeshond Working or Hound; the Boston Terrier could be classed as a Toy while the Bulldog belongs to a semi-sporting working family brought down from the bull-baiting days in England, The breeds in this group are certainly as varied as the uses for which they were intended and it, therefore, becomes one of the most interesting.
