Began showing dogs in 1984 with her Labrador Retriever, Sir Spanky of Savannah CDX.
Fell in love with Pembroke Welsh Corgis when she saw them at an obedience trial and bought a male that she was told was "show quality". This dog grew up to be a multiple BIS & BISS winner.
Started judging conformation in 1997. Has had the honor of judging multiple breeds specialty shows including sweepstakes at the Pembroke and Cardigan National Specialty in Australia.
Feels that breeds should not only excel in physical type but also be structurally sound enough to do the work they were bred for.
Currently works part time as an Emergency Room nurse. After 13 years in the Army her husband Bill is now a helicopter pilot for the TX Army National Guard.
