I have been a breeder-owner-handler for over 35 yrs, and although my own personal breeding program is small (I own 4-6 dogs, and breed about 1 litter per yr), sires and dams from my breeding program have produced about 300 American CH's.  I've owned the # 1 Golden Sire for 4 years, the # 1 Golden Dam for 4 years, and many of my offspring have ranked in the Top Ten Goldens (including # 1 All Systems).  I judge on a very limited basis since I still actively compete with my dogs.  I typically ask Clubs to donate to Canine Health Foundation in lieu of a judging fee, and often present seminars on various health topics in conjunction with judging assignments.
