Sherry Paulette Bosley grew up on a farm in York County, PA. Her childhood included caring for horses and the family Dalmatian. In 1974 she obtained her first Great Dane and later began breeding under the kennel name of "Acire."

Sherry became active in the Great Dane Club of Maryland, holding many offices; the Great Dane Club of America, and the North East Kennel Club. Her breeding program was successful and she exhibited many of her dogs to championships.

Her joy at being in the ring with a lead in hand soon developed into a professional handling career that she juggled with her other career -- that of a sergeant in the Maryland State Police Intelligence Division. Sherry campaigned many dogs in the Working Group to championship and ranking positions,

Mrs. Bosley became approved to judge Great Danes in 1994 and Doberman Pinschers in 1996. She has since retired from her career in law enforcement and is enjoying being in the ring without a lead. She currently lives in Bel Air, MD with her husband, two children, two Great Danes, one Doberman and one very dominant cat.
