Lois Sanford purchased her first Doberman Pinscher in 1978, and her first Chinese Shar-Pei in 1985.
Since this time she has shown many dogs to their AKC and CSPCA Championships, as well as Canadian Champions. One of which took BIS at the Canadian Chinese Shar-Pei Club of Canada, Shown by a friend.
She has served as President of the St. Hubert Kennel Club, Vice President, and on the board of Directors. She has done Charitable services in Hospitals and Nursing Homes for the Elderly.
She has also been the Show Chairman for the St. Hubert Kennel Club for more than ten years.
She is approved to judge 17 Working dogs along with 7 in the Non Sporting Group and Junior Showmanship.
The dog show fancy has been a true commitment, and love, for all her life. Making many lifelong friends. It has taken her through many difficult times in her life. The people she has met will always be with her. The sport her life. The dogs her love.
