In 1972 my
wife and I acquired our first show dog. Since that time we have bred over 35
champions, almost all of which were entirely owner-handled. I began my judging career in 1994, focusing on
Sporting breeds and am currently approved by AKC to judge the Hound and Sporting Groups.
It has been my privilege to contribute to the fancy through active participation in the Irish Setter Club of America (ISCA), as a Past President, officer and director. I was the Chairman of and instrumental in establishing the ISCA Foundation and served as its initial Secretary/Treasurer. I still am a member of the board of directors of the foundation.
I am a founding member and current Treasurer of the Sporting Dog
Association of Arizona. I have served
six terms and am the current President
of the Irish Setter Club of Arizona. I am a Past President
and Treasurer of the Sahuaro State Kennel Club of Phoenix, Arizona.
