I started with my first Keeshond in 1972; I got my first Papillon in 1983. Actively showing, I joined local all breed and breed clubs to give something back to the sport.  I started judging for AKC in 1993, and I am also an approved Australian Club of America judge(ASCA) .

Working digilently, I now have 23 breeds; 9 Toys, and 15 Non-Sporting Breeds. I am currently provisional for 2 Toy and 6 Non-Sporting breeds.  (Poodles in 3 sizes, 2 groups.)

I enjoy the complete judging experience; not so much the travel, but the club members, the exhibitors, and especially, the dogs. Whenever I can, I try to make the "newbie" comfortable, and truly want them to return again and again, showing for the pleasure and developing their depth of knowledge. This is a hobby and a sport.  It will give back to you what you put into it.
