I've been involved in dogs for almost 40 years as an exhibitor, breeder, trainer and am an AKC licensed judge in tracking and hunting tests. To support my "hobby" I've been a dog groomer for almost 40 years. I've bred Miniature poodles, many CH, Obedience titles, tracking titles over the last 20 years and started agility recently. I owned, showed and trained German Shorthaired Pointers in breed obedience and field events for 32 years, prior to giving up the breed due to family allergies. I've co-owned Flat coated retrievers for the last 10 years and am currently showing a youngster in breed. My other flatcoats are both Champions and one has earned her CT (Champion Tracker) title as well. I have an excellent working knowledge of many other breeds from my experience in show grooming. I have groomed numerous Portuguese Water dogs to their Championships titles, and also have show grooming experience in Soft coated wheatens and Bouviers.
