My initial breed is the Akita, whose courageous loyalty and strength of character attracted me from the very beginning. I have owned and/or bred dozens of champions, from a limited number of breedings. My wife, Laurie White and her mother, Donna White, imported an Akita bitch from England a few years ago who eventually became the number one Akita of all time, Macey. A lifelong student of purebred dogs, I have provisional status for Doberman Pinschers and Great Danes, and have regular status for Rottweilers, Akitas, and Junior Showmanship. I am a founding member of the Northstar Working Group Association, and also belong to the Wright County Kennel Club, the Lake Minnetonka Kennel Club, the Akita Club of America, the American Dog Show Judges, and the Minnesota Dog Judge’s Association. To support my dog habit, I teach fifth grade in a first ring suburb of Minneapolis.
