I have owned beagles since 1967 and started showing the same year, in Australia. I bred and showed Beagles in Australia with great success and then in 1988 moved to the USA when I married my husband, David. We now still breed Beagles using the Starbuck Torbay prefix. (This is a combination of each of our kennel names.) Over the years we have consistently produced Group and Specialty winning Beagles. And always have hopes of another star sitting in the whelping box.

I have held a license to judge Hounds since 1974. Since then I have been approved by the AKC to judge the Hound, Herding and Toy groups as well as 10 Non Sporting and 9 working breeds.

I have been privileged to judge Beagle Specialties in Australia, Sweden, Norway, Germany and the Czech Republic, as well as the US (including the National Beagle Specialty).

I have also judged at All breeds shows in Australia, England, Denmark & Sweden as well as the US & Canada.
