Virtual Dog Show Profile

Have shown in AKC for 42 years, mainly Shelties, but came from the old "Working Group" before it split, and worked 4 yrs for a PHA handler during those early years.  Have judged in AKC for 25 years.  Owned ASCA Aussies since 1961, judged for ASCA since 1978. AKC approved for Shelties, Collies, Aussies.  I've also owned a Mini Poodle along with a few Aussies over the years.  I professionally groomed, also specialed/agent handled dogs for friends. Have judged National Futurity for Chinese Shar Pei Club of America plus had judged their pre-AKC specialties for several years.  Also judged the National Futurity for Xolos in 2008. Have judge Futurity for pre-National Cattle Dog show, and Conformation Versatility for their National.  Have judged specialty matches or sweepstakes for GSD (several), Old English, Bouviers, Boxers, Rottweilers, Dobes, Pyrs also.  Have attended Nationals/judges study in most of the breeds I'm "applying" for here.  Have judged many matches - Herding, Working, Toy groups in particular (plus BIM) plus am judging for the International shows nowadays doing several groups and getting breed judging experience with various new breeds.  As a breeder, my main contribution was breeding a Top Sire (35 Amer/37 Can CHs), and finishing dogs for others.  I've bred BISS and Group winners, along with performance titled dogs.  I never bred much and usually showed my own dogs.
