Started with our first Shih Tzu in 1970. Active in AKC activities since 1974, as a breeder/exhibitor of Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, and Cavaliers. Have served as a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Director and/or Show Chair of three All-Breed Clubs, a Specialty Club and one Regional Specialty Club. Have Chaired Constitution Revision Committees for four Clubs. Approved to judge All Toys, Seven Terrier and Five Non-sporting Breeds, plus JS and BiS. I have served as AKC Delegate since 1982 and Judges Education Chair for two local/regional breed clubs and an Approved Mentor for National Parent Club.
I am an Orthopedic Surgeon practicing in Upstate NY, with over 28 years experience and an elective practice concentrating in joint replacement. My other hobbies include playing Blues Guitar and training and instructing Martial Arts. I am a 4th Degree Black Belt Master Instructor in a Korean form of Karate.
As an AKC Delegate I judge for expenses only but if acceptable, clubs may make a contribution to Take The Lead or The Cavalier Charitable Trust.
