Anitra Cuneo has been judging since 1982 after having lived with a Standard Poodle, Weimaraners, Great Danes and a Wirehaired Vizsla.
In addition to the usual breeding, exhibiting stewarding and club activities she has been actively involved in the New Jersey Federation of Dog Clubs as a Director, Secretary, Vice President and President. She has worked with New Jersey law makers to draft and get passed suitable non breed specific legislation. She is the founder of the Princeton Judges Study Group which is dedicated to the education of dog judges as well as prospective dog judges. She has been a Delegate to the AKC and is a member of three all breed clubs and a life member of the Garden State Weimaraner Club which she and her husband, Roy, founded.
Mrs. Cuneo is approved to judge the Working, Non-Sporting and Herding groups, a few breeds in other groups and Best In Show. She has judged in most of the United States, South America, the far east ( Japan and Korea ) and several European countries.
