Susan Oviatt-Harris bio.

I have competed in AKC obedience, tracking, conformation, hunting and agility events since 1972, and have been a licensed tracking & obedience judge since 1980. I have owned, trained and exhibited two Irish Setters, two English Setters, two Dobermans, a Springer Spaniel, a mini Wire-Haired Dachshund, two Golden Retrievers and three Shetland Sheepdogs.

I am a retired high school English teacher and live with my husband, two quarter horses, one Golden and three Shelties. My CDX, MX, MXJ Golden is retired and has become my husband’s companion. My older Sheltie has her MACH and UDX and is now a retired couch princess. My male Sheltie has his CD and is pursuing a MACH in agility. Our recent addition is his son, Gem, a wild child Sheltie, in training for obedience, and showing in agility at the excellent level. In my spare time I read, knit, garden, bake, and play and exercise with the dogs.
