Libby started in dogs in 1970, when she acquired a golden retreiver and began showing it in both obedience and breed. Two dogs later she had her first Champion. Eventually living on a small farn in New Hampshire, the family had grown with the addition of a Great Dane. It then seemed like they needed a "small" dog to go with "large" and "medium-sized". They admired a few English Springers that lived in the area, and eventually acquired a show-bred springer. The rest was history and for 20 years that was all Libby had, first under the kennel name Minstrel, and once partnered with John Naimo, under the kennel name Kismet. Recently the Naimos have discovered the Havanese, and 4 of them complete the pack residing in Jackson NJ.
