I began showing dogs in 1963. My original breed was Beagles but I showed a number of different breeds. I worked part time (weekends) for a professional handler, Myrtle Puett. She was a Scottish Terrier breeder..
I received approval to judge my first breed, Beagles, in 1973. I finished the Hound Group in 1988 and began working on the Sporting Group. I currently am approved for all hounds, all but five of the sporting dogs, Junior Showmanship, Misc. and Best in Show.
