Eileen Pimlott was born and raised in England, where she bred and showed Pembroke Welsh Corgis under her "Halmor prefix. She attended her first dog show in 1949.
She and her husband, Roy, emigrated to California in 1960, bringing with them their two best Corgis. They added Smooth Fox Terriers in 1968 and went on to win National Specialties in both breeds.
She was approved by AKC to judge Pembrokes in 1964 and her first assignment was Del Monte Kennel Club in May of 1965. She went on to be approved for all Working breeds and judged the last Working Group at Westminster (1981) before the Herding breeds were separated.
