		Best Puppy Competition Best Puppy will be awarded from the First Place winners in the Puppy Classes ONLY immediately following each breed. If the Best of Breed is awarded to a dog/bitch coming from the Puppy Class for that breed, the Best Puppy win is automatic. Best Puppy Group will be judged following the Variety Group that included that breed. First through Fourth Place in each Group will be awarded, with the Group Winner going on to Best Puppy in Show. Judges for Breed and Best Puppy in Show will be as published for the regular classes.

		"It is the policy of Coeur d'Alene Dog Fanciers that the following individuals are restricted from personally entering the ring to exhibit a dog at these shows: Show Chairperson, Chief Ring Steward, and any individual club member who has had direct contact with the judges."
		NO PRACTICING ALLOWED IN RINGS AT ANY TIME. Dogs May Arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges Will Not Wait for Any Dog Holding Up a Class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. All Dogs Present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring. No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent in which this dog show is conducted. Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the event's Show Committee. If because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergencies, health emergencies, and the dictates of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of the grounds and/or facilities or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. Due to limited space there will be NO grooming at ringside. Crates MUST be removed as soon as Breed Judging is completed.

	Canine Good Citizen Test Monday, May 26, 2003 - Judge: Mary A. Dowski Cost $10.00 per dog. - Starts 12:30 P.M. - Registration on Site You MUST bring written proof from your veterinarian of all inoculations up to date, including rabies. Rabies tags not accepted. All Dogs That Earn Their CGC Title will be mailed a CGC Patch.

Rules & Regulations • All exhibitors are responsible for clean-up of their parking space and all trash and garbage bags are to be dumped in the nearest dumpster - NOT LEFT IN YOUR SPACE! • Those wishing to park together MUST send reservations together (same envelope). • All vehicles MUST VACATE the grounds two hours AFTER Best In Show on Tuesday, weather permitting. • The Parking Committee will assign places in the order that they are received but reserves the right to park vehicles by size and need as to best benefit the operation of the show and inflict the least amount of damage to the grounds as possible.

Special Notice

• Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. All exhibitors will be held responsible for the condition and cleanliness around their set-ups and parking area. Rudeness or abusive language will not be tolerated. Any infractions will be referred to the Event Committee for appropriate action and may be refused entry and/or parking at future shows.

• Curfew: All generators Must be shut off and dogs must be kept quiet after 10:00 P.M.

• NO PARKING IN FIRELANES OR IN ANY AREA NOT DESIGNATED FOR RESERVED OR DAY PARKING.

• Crates may be at ringside during their breed judging ONLY.

• Please help us keep our grounds clean and free of damage so we may use the facility next year.

• IF IT IS NECESSARY TO RESCUE AN UNATTENDED DOG FROM A PARKED CAR OR CRATE ON THE SHOW GROUNDS, THE CLUB WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THE CAR INVOLVED.

At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on a ramp: Clumber Spaniels, Sussex Spaniels, Basset Hounds, Staffordshire Bull Terriers & Bulldogs.

Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any breed. (In an emergency situation, an exhibitor does have the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund).

All trophies must be claimed the day of the show. Trophies will NOT be mailed.
