Sheltie Rescue Northeast has been in operation for over 23 years and has helped and placed hundreds of dogs. All dogs are evaluated, medically updated and then placed in carefully selected homes to match temperaments and lifestyles. All dogs are spayed or neutered if they aren't already when they come in. There is a three page contract that must be agreed to and signed by each adopting party. The dogs live in the house with me, not in kennels or foster homes until they are placed. This gives me a better opportunity to get to know each individual dog on a personal level to enable me to better place them into the right situation for him or her. I do sometimes take in other breeds if the need arises and I have the room.
