If you desire to pre-pay for an electrical outlet for your personal use during the entire time of the events please follow the following procedure: Send all requests to Michael Canalizo c/o The American Kennel Club 260 Madison Ave. New York, NY 10016. E-mail is: MLC@akc.org You can send a check payable to the AKC or send credit card information with expiration date. Once all the requests have been processed you will be emailed a grid of the grooming sections that identify the areas. After you unload and find your grooming space you will go to the service desk located in the hall and report your location to have the service connected. You will have a detachable plug that we recommend you take with you at the end of the day which will be collected or turned back in on the last day of use. These outlets are 2,000 watt outlets that can support most normal dryers. If you have intentions of using a high heat dryer you run the risk of overloading the service and if you blow the connection you will have one reset and if it happens again you will have to buy an upgraded level to support your equipment. The facility fire marshals will conduct routine checks for safety and potential fire hazards. Please take extreme care not to jeopardize the safety of the event by overloading this service. Each outlet if ordered and paid by 11/21 is $120.00. Any orders placed after 11/21 will be: $263.00 Any pre-paid service must be canceled by 12/12/11 in order to receive a full refund.
