The Medina Kennel Club of Medina, OH has been in existence for over 35 years and is bigger and better than ever! Everyone with an interest in dogs is welcome to join us. Our meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the 4th Wednesday of every month at the Medina Kennel Club Training Center, 6162 Wooster Pike, Medina, OH 44256. Wooster Pike is Ohio route 3. It is located south of Medina and north of I-76 Route 3 exit. Our Training Center offers Agility on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Monday evenings and Confirmation Run-thrus each Tuesday evening. The Obedience Run-thrus are on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday. The 4th Wednesday is reserved for our club meeting. On Thursdays we have Beginners, Novice, and Open Obedience classes. The 1st and 3rd Fridays we have a Rally class. For more information about Training Center activities call (330)220-4450 or (330) 483-4260. We are closed the during August.

Medina KC holds it's AKC shows in July at the Medina County Fair Grounds and in December at the Brookpark I-X Center, as part of the Cleveland Crown Classic, a 4 show cluster of dog shows that 'Crowns' the year.

Medina Kennel Club's members actively represent the spectrum of the dog world. Conformation, Obedience, Agility, Herding and Breed Rescue. Although most of our activities are fun, we have a serious side too. MKC donates annual gifts to the Medina County Sheriff's drug dog team, helps with the Annual County Pet Adoptathon and donates money to various other worthy causes. Those include scholarship gifts to Ohio State University's Veterinary College and to Cuyahoga Community College's Veterinary Technician program. We also donate time for obedience training to a local high school's obedience dog team from their animal care class. They have done very well in State competition and a USA regional.
