Our foundation male at DieuDonné Great Pyrenees, 'Dickens'
has proven himself to be of superlative quality. Having won both the American and Canadian Great Pyrenees National Specialties in 2000, 'Dickens' is the only Great Pyrenees to have ever won both prestigious events in the same year.
'Dickens' started 2001 by winning Best of Breed at Westminster February 12; Best in Show at the M.H.G.P.C. Regional Specialty, Feb 15; and 3 Group 1sts at the Plum Creek/Colorado shows Feb 16 - 19 in Denver, CO.
'Dickens' Qualified for the Great Pyrenees Club of America Hall of Fame for All-Breed Show Wins at less than 2 years of age in 1998.
'Dickens' has also proven himself to be a superior producer, qualifying for the G.P.C.A. Top Producers Hall of Fame at less than 4 years of age in 2000. Several of 'Dickens' offspring are now Regional Specialty Winners themselves. To date, 'Dickens' has sired 16 champions out of just 7 litters with several young 'contenders' coming of age soon...
