Not only is 'Connor' a handsome brown dog, his disposition and intelligence have made Connor a joy to train, while his antics help to get us through the harder drills we have to face. He is truly a multi-purpose dog from Irish's Royal Chesapeakes and is residing at NorthWyn Chesapeakes(est. 1974). He is co-owned by his breeders Gary & Dorene Irish. FLASH! 'Connor' gets the nod for Best in Swepstakes at Cambridge Minnesota Kennel Club from Mrs Diane L. Wacker and then is awarded Best of Winners for a 5 point major at this supported entry by well-respected judge Mr Everett Dean Jr. 'Connor' had just turned 13 months old during these exciting wins! Thank you Mrs Wacker and Mr Dean! And more CONGRATULATIONS to 'CONNOR' are in order! 'Connor' finishes his Championship at just 16 months of age by going Best of Winners for his 4th major over the National Specialty weekend at Mid-Kentucky, under esteemed judge Mr Edmund A. Kauffman Jr. 'Connor' was Reserve Winners at the Supported entry the day before. 'CONNOR' GOES NORTH OF THE BORDER AND CONTINUES HIS WINNING STREAK! This time in Canada at the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada Specialty weekend. 'Connor' is given the nod for Best of Breed over 4 Specials for 5 points on the first day under Ms. Virginia Lyne. He is given the nod for Reserve Winners at the Booster under Mrs Janet Wilcox and then Mrs Elaine Whitney selects him as her Winners Dog at the Candian Specialty! 'Connor' finishes on the last day of this weekend with Best of Winners under Mr Robert Whitney! 'Connor' is just 18 months old and just 6 weeks into his American Championship title!
