Brett is my dream dog, he is wonderful around the house and a joy to show. He is also a go getter in the field.
To describe Brett I am quoting Breeder Judge Betsy Yates as taken from the July 1999 issue of the German Shorthaired News following his win at the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America National Specialty Show: 'He is a lovely, balanced, moderate dog, a good example of a German Shorthaired Pointer. Open stride, covered ground with limited effort,no wasted motion. Masculine, clean cut headpiece with ample length of muzzle to adequately carry a pheasant. Good length of neck smoothly fitting into a well laid back shoulder. Strong topline with proper tailset and carriage. Good forechest with depth to the elbows. Good substance and bone.'
