Devon is my dream dog. The love of my life. The smallest puppy from my first litter of Gordon Setters, he has surpassed all my hopes and dreams. Beginning with winning the 6 - 9 month puppy dog class at the 1997 GSCA National Specialty, he continues to amaze me. He has multiple Best of Breed wins over Specials, including a Group Placement from the classes. Devon has always been shown in the Bred by class since he was a puppy. He was the only dog from the classes in the Top 20 in Gordons for 1998. He also placed in the puppy Sporting Group at Hockamock KC's Puppy Extravaganza in June 1997. After taking the end of 1998 and most of 1999 off so I could show his brothers, I brought Devon out in Nov & Dec 1999 and he finished his Championship quickly including winning BOW at the TarTan Gordon Setter Club Supported Entry held in W Springfieled, Ma and also BOW at Eastern DC in Boston, Ma. Both these wins were majors.
He has the most wonderful personality, and just 'goes with the flow'. He also recently finished the requirements for his JH title with 4 staright passes and scores always 8 or above.
