Nickie is a well ballanced and correctly coated smooth male with leg and type, he is the first smooth coated chow to be awarded Best in Sweepstakes at the Chow Chow Club Inc. national specialty. He comes from a litter of four whose OFA hip evaluations included two OFA 'goods' and two 'excellents.' Only 12 ecellent ratings were attained that year and 2 were in this litter. His sister (Sitze-Gou's Waltzing Matilda) was the second 'excellent' in this breeding.
