Duncan won the Champion Dog with an AKC Herding Title the first time that class was offered at the National Specialty (1999). That same year he became the first BCSA Versatility dog to earn a judge's Award of Merit at a National Specialty (1999). In 2001 he earned a judge's Award of Excellence at the inaugural AKC Classic Invitational dog show. Duncan's first show in 2002 was the KTBCC supported entry at Louisville Kennel Club, where he won Best of Breed. Although not shown very often, he is a multiple group placer and has been in the top 20 in 1999, 2000 and 2001. Duncan is handled in conformation by his breeder, Ronni DeLay and in obedience and herding by his owner, Kelly Whiteman.
Duncan is a proven sire with champion and performance titled offspring. He has OFA Good Hips, OFA Normal Elbows/Patellae, OFA Normal Thyroid, and eyes CERF clear at age 6 weeks and annually thereafter. He is DNA registered with the AKC.
