About the Breeder:
I acquired my first Longhaired Dachshund in 1980 and have been breeding, training and showing Longhaired Dachshunds for over 25 years. I trained and owner handled the #10 Dachshund in the country in obedience and bred, trained, and owner handled the #20 dog in conformation. One of my girls went WB, BOW, and BOS at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club show in 1991. Over the years, I have maintained contact with my many dog owners and have hosted kennel “family” reunions, which have provided me with an opportunity to see and follow-up with the health and well being of the dogs I have bred. I have also been involved locally and regionally with the Dachshund Breed Rescue program. My related club memberships include: The Dachshund Club of America, The Metropolitan Washington Dachshund Club, The Shawnee Kennel Club, The American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation, and the The National Humane Education Society.
