About the Breeder:
I grew up with minature schnauzers and I love the breed. I have been a breeder-owner handler for about 11 years and have bred 4 black champions and 2 black and silver champions and 2 salt & pepper champions. In eleven years I have only bred 13 litters and I take breeding and the responsibilities that go along with it very seriously. All my dogs live in my house, and all of the puppies grow up in that environment as well. They are showered with attention from their first breath and are crate trained and nearly house broken when they leave. All my puppies are sold at 10-12 weeks old. Their ears are cropped, they have had a least two rounds of shots and come with a written lifetime health guarantee against gentic defects, and have had their eyes examined. All my breeding stock have their eyes examined annually and are registered with CERF. In prospective homes for my puppies, I will attempt to find out what the puppies' quality of life will be like. This to me is the number one concern. Will they live in the house with the family, will they be taken to a vet for a yearly exam, will they be groomed at regular intervals, is the family at home or do they travel a great deal, etc. I watch them closely as they interact with the puppies, are they comfortable, do they relate to the puppies, are their childern respectful to the puppies and treat them with kindness. I am always just a phone call away when owners have questions and I consider my relationship with this family to be one that will last the lifetime of their pet.
