My name is Karen Hayes, I am the founder of ROTT IRON ROTTWEILERS. My kennel is registered with the American Kennel Club. I am also a member of 2 code of ethics Rottweiler clubs, the American Rottweiler Club and the Colonial Rottweiler Club. My foundation bitch 'Am.Ch.Royals Kelsey Neuhaus CGC, started ROTT IRON ROTTWEILERS for us in 1994. 'Kelsey' went on the Tar Heel Circuit in North Carolina and came home with 3 four point majors and 2 reserves to majors. She was a fabulous show dog and a super foundation bitch. Kelsey also won the Brood Bitch Class at the ARC National in 1999, represented by her littermate daughters Am./Can.Ch. Rott Irons Rising Arizona CGC and Am./Can.Ch. Rott Irons Hurricane Alex CGC . We strive to maintain a strong breeding program, we only select top producing, sound certified stud dogs coming from strong working/conformation pedigrees. We breed our certified bitches with the goal of continuously improving the breed. Over the years, we have learned some very valuable lessons; namely no dog should be bred without hip, elbow, & cardiac clearance by the OFA, as well as eyes certified by CERF.
