About the Breeder:
Anthony Scully is the sole owner/founder of Newcastle Bullmastiffs LLC and has owned and exhibited Bullmastiffs since 1982. Newcastle Bullmastiffs LLC has currently bred over “40” American Kennel Club champions here in the United States with many Newcastle Bullmastiffs achieving their dual championships in Canada, as well as, with the IABCA and UKC recognized clubs. This is “not” a business. Bullmastiffs have been my life’s passion and hobby for over 27 years. For a decade now and counting, Newcastle Bullmastiffs has consistently placed a dog and/or bitch in the top 25 rankings throughout the United States. In conjunction with producing top Bullmastiffs in the U.S. and Canada, Newcastle Bullmastiffs also has the acclaim of Multiple Specialty Winners at the American Bullmastiff Association Nationals, Award of Merit winners at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City, and AKC Eukanuba Dog Show Breed/ Bred-By-Exhibitor qualifiers. Majority of Newcastle Bullmastiffs champions have accomplished their American and Canadian championships through the “Bred By Exhibitor” class, meaning....”not” professionally handled, but shown by the breeder/owner. Anthony Scully is a member of the “Owner Handlers Association of America since 1998”, also charter member of the “American Bullmastiff Association” since 1995, “Midwest Bullmastiff Fanciers Club” since 1996, and the “Great Lake Bullmastiff Club” since founded in 2007. Anthony Scully is the “Michigan representative” for the “Midwest Bullmastiff Club” and participates with “Michigan Bullmastiff Rescue”. Newcastle Bullmastiffs LLC strives for a well planned out breeding program that “only” considers mature adult dogs that have achieved their AKC Championship title. As an ethical breeder, this is the correct way of honestly evaluating the worth of your breeding stock. But this does “not” mean that every dog that has accomplished this task of Championship should be bred. Having a dog’s AKC Championship title is the cornerstone of any well respected breeding program. Also involves knowledge of an 8 plus generation pedigree, genetic imprinting, skeletal structure, kinetic movement, environmental socialization training, temperament testing, health clearances performed, and lots of patience. Newcastle Bullmastiffs LLC does not produce quantity but “quality” Bullmastiffs that are home grown and “not” kennel raised; therefore they are limited. The ratio of how many puppies Newcastle Bullmastiffs LLC produce compared to achieving their AKC championships is 2nd to none. All Newcastle Bullmastiff puppies come with a co-ownership written contract, health agreements, AKC papers, and microchips for permanent identification.
