About the Breeder:
With an eye for improving the breed SaltyDawgPWDs selects health cleared sires and dams to breed champion and companion Portuguese Water Dogs providing new owners with ship shape temperaments. At the tenth PWDCA National Specialty we were awarded Best Senior Puppy in Futurity and Best Puppy in Show. For 2004 our bitch Sweet Tater was noted as the #2 Dam by the PWDCA and at the 2005 National she was awarded 3rd place in Brood Bitch with Princess Odette and Precious Harley as her get. In 2005 we had the #11 PWD according to the Eukanuba ranking system. Baker, Ch SaltyDawg Twice Baked AOM is handled by our 14 year old granddaughter in breed and Junior Showmanship. At SaltyDawgPWDs we place healthy, happy puppies in the best possible enviornments for them to thrive. If they are to be shown or trained for working, we support the family and dog throughout the process of winning a Championship or earning a working title. We strive to show our own dogs in the conformation agility & water rings. Whether the puppy is shown or a loved companion, our intention is to follow your puppy through out it's life.
