About the Breeder:
I am the sole breeder of the Portuguese Podengo, Pequeno Smooth Coat, in the U.S. and will occasionally have puppies available for pets, conformation and/or lure coursing in the Hound catagory. They are now approved by AKC for coursing and should be approved for showing soon probably in the misc. class. I imported my sire from Sweden and my dam from Portugal in 2006. I began showing Ibizan Hounds in 2005 and ended the year with the #2 and the #10 Ibizan Hounds in the U.S. and invitions to AKC/Eukanumba in Tampa, where my stud dogs received a Award of Merit and then went to Westminster. In 2006 he was #8, with limited showing, in the nation and was invited to AKC/Euk year end final where he was awarded Best of Opposite Sex to one of his daughters who won Best of Breed as the #1 Ibizan Hound in the Nation. I currently have 2 Ibizan Hound Puppies available.
